Commitment & Cancellation
Forging resilience requires a commitment to showing up-for yourself and for the group. Because our expeditions involve complex back-country permits, guide logistics, and professional coordination, we maintain a firm but fair path for transitions.
KAF Guidlines
In the unlikely event that a trip/course is canceled by Kaf Adventures prior to its start, you are able to reschedule or rebook at no charge. If rebooking is not possible, you are eligible for a full refund of your payment, remitted within one month. Kaf will not provide compensation for any other costs incurred, including but not limited to gear purchases, flights, lodging, etc. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance, especially when traveling to join us.
Any outdoor adventure can be affected by weather and conditions, especially in the mountains. Kaf Adventures intends to begin every trip on the stated date unless our expert guides decide it is unsafe due to extreme weather or other objective hazards. Once we are on the mountain, reaching the summit is not guaranteed. Our guides are constantly assessing the safety of individuals, the group, and the environment, and may decide to turn around one or more people to uphold that standard. Kaf Adventures guides will have the final say in this decision and it will not result in any refunds.
Deposit
A 50% deposit is required at the time of registration and the remaining balance is due 30 days before the start date of your course. If it is not received by this time, you authorize Kaf Adventures to charge your method of payment on file.
Cancelling or Reschedule
Less than 10 days
Unfortunately no refund, credit, or rescheduling opportunity is available
10-29 days
No refund is available.
You will receive credit for 50% of the trip cost to put towards a future Kaf Adventures trip or course.
30+ days
You may choose to either:
1. Rebook your trip for a future date within 6 months of the original trip date.
2. Receive a credit in the amount of your payment (up to 100% of the trip cost) to put towards a future trip or course. Valid for 1 year from the original trip date.
3. Receive a refund of 50% of the trip cost minus a 3% processing fee.

01. Professional Boundaries
Our guides function as both technical experts and facilitators. While we foster connection, the relationship remains professional and grounded in integrity to facilitate genuine connection.
02. Safety & Readiness
Mountain environments are inherently unpredictable. Participants must adhere to all safety protocols and equipment requirements. We reserve the right to alter itineraries or cancel specific objectives based on physical readiness and environmental conditions.
03. field changes
Sometimes last minute in the field changes are required, this is left up to the guides discretion. The summit is not a guarantee.
