Mt. Baker is one of the best places in the Pacific Northwest to learn the basics of glacier mountaineering.

Over three days, you'll learn how to travel safely on snow and glaciers, use crampons and an ice axe, move together as a rope team, and experience what it's like to climb a Cascade volcano.
 

You'll also have plenty of time to talk.
 

The pace of a mountain day leaves room for conversation- sometimes light, sometimes serious, and sometimes surprisingly personal. Nothing is required. We simply create the conditions for people to connect.
